Exciting News for Glen Huntly Village!
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve been successful—and a brand-new community citrus garden is coming to life right here in Glen Huntly Village!
With the support of the Glen Huntly Traders Association and our friends at Carnegie Laneways, we’re transforming one of our village laneways into a vibrant citrus garden. The vision? To grow fresh & free citrus fruit for our community—while harvesting rainwater !
But this is about more than food. It’s about connection, sustainability, and community spirit. A place where neighbours come together, get their hands in the soil, and create something meaningful for everyone.
How you can be part of it:
We’ll need volunteers to help plant, water, and nurture the garden—and to share in the joy of seeing it flourish. Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or just keen to get involved, you’re more than welcome.
This laneway garden is about growing more than fruit—it’s about growing hope, learning, and togetherness in Glen Huntly.
